Imagine a doctoral student drowning in a sea of academic papers, trying to find that one piece of research that could be the cornerstone of their thesis. They type keyword after keyword into traditional search engines and databases, sifting through hundreds of results that are either too broad or too specific.
Hours turn into days, and they find themselves no closer to that "Eureka" moment. Even formulating the right search query becomes a challenge, causing frustration and delays in their already time-sensitive research.
The solution

Background
Our team recognized the immense struggle students and researchers face when navigating the jungle of academic literature. We all have backgrounds in academia and have personally felt the frustration of coming up empty-handed after hours of searching. We were always on the hunt for that missing piece of research that could complete our work but found traditional search methods inadequate and time-consuming. The struggle to articulate the exact search query to find that one pivotal article was a shared pain point among us.
We knew there had to be a smarter, more efficient way to uncover relevant research without losing countless hours and risking incomplete or less rigorous work. That's why we decided to create Keenious. We wanted to revolutionize the way people engage with academic literature, making it less about the struggle to find and more about the joy of discovery.
